ACCESS TO WOLMAR

To access Wolmar from Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport (SSR Airport) in Mauritius, you have several convenient options. Taxis are readily available at the airport and offer a direct route, taking approximately 1 to 1.5 hours to reach Wolmar. Alternatively, you can rent a car from one of the many car rental companies located in the arrivals area. Driving from the airport, take the M2 motorway towards Port Louis, then merge onto the A1 towards Black River/Tamarin, and finally follow the A3 to Flic-en-Flac, continuing south to Wolmar.

For those preferring pre-arranged transport, many companies provide shuttle and private transfer services that can be booked in advance. These services offer comfort and ease, with a similar travel time as taxis. Public buses are also available but are less convenient, requiring multiple transfers and a significantly longer travel time. Regardless of your chosen mode of transport, the route is well-marked and offers scenic views of the island.
