ACCESS TO TAMARIN

To access Tamarin from Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport (SSR Airport) in Mauritius, you have several convenient options. Taxis are readily available at the airport and offer a direct route, typically taking about 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on traffic. Alternatively, you can rent a car from one of the many car rental agencies at the airport. 

Driving from the airport, take the M1 motorway towards Port Louis. After passing the capital, continue on the M1 until you reach the exit for the Black River/Tamarin area. Follow the signs for Tamarin on the A3 road, which leads you through scenic landscapes and local villages.

For those preferring pre-arranged transport, many companies offer shuttle and private transfer services that can be booked in advance. These services provide comfort and ease, with a similar travel time as taxis. While public buses are available, they are less convenient, requiring multiple transfers and a longer travel time. Regardless of your chosen mode of transport, the route is well-marked and offers beautiful views of Mauritius.
